Chastity Education Initiative

Every young person has something unique and vital to contribute to society. Unfortunately, too many young people do not fulfill their potential because of their involvement in high-risk behaviors such as the use of alcohol and other drugs, and premarital sex.

To address this, the Archdiocese of Chicago Respect Life Ministry hosts the Chastity Education Initiative (CEI). The Initiative brings meaningful discussion to the ramifications of risky behaviors like alcohol, drug use and pre-marital sex, and the potential benefits of abstinence from things that can distract and derail young people from reaching their fullest potential. Partnering with schools, youth groups, parishes and other organizations, our mission is to lovingly instill the empowering message of chastity in the hearts and minds of Catholic teens and adults throughout the Archdiocese.

At minimal or no cost, we provide all Catholic schools, youth and young adult groups, parishes, universities and other organizations in the Archdiocese of Chicago with:

  • Dynamic Speakers
  • Up-to-date and medically-informed curricula
  • Retreats
  • Rallies
  • Chastity Education Materials
