Become a PreCana Facilitator

Preparing couples for the sacrament of matrimony is a privilege and a responsibility. Pope Francis encourages facilitators to “help couples to live the rest of their lives together ‘with great courage and generosity.”

As ministers to couples, PreCana facilitators witness the joy of a Christ-centered marriage, help couples preparing for marriage understand the beauty of Catholic theology and essential relationship principles and skills, and prompt meaningful conversations as couples apply the content to their lives. However, the most important aspect of your role is to help couples become comfortable with talking about their faith, especially with each other. You are here to help them develop a stronger relationship with God so that He is the center of their union.

Please listen to Mark and Peggy Fechner talk more about the beauty of this ministry and how facilitating PreCana inspires engaged couples to the mission and vocation of marriage.
