Friday Fish Fries to take place at Archdiocese of Chicago Parishes starting on Friday, March 7, 2025 through Friday, April 11, 2025.

Several Archdiocese of Chicago parishes will host Fish Fries.

March 5, 2025 is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of the 2025 Lenten season, a solemn 40-day period devoted to reflection, prayer, spiritual preparation, and fasting before Easter. Jesus sacrificed his flesh for us on Good Friday. On Fridays during Lent, as an outward expression of their faith, Catholics abstain from eating meat in Jesus’ honor.
