The Office of Human Dignity and Solidarity embodies the term “Our Faith in Action” through its numerous social ministries that respond to the call to holiness, transform the lives of others through Christ and build bonds among each other to sustain our life in Christ.
The Church’s social teaching is a rich tapestry of wisdom that addresses building a just society and living in holiness and transformation amidst the challenges of modern society. Modern Catholic social teaching has been articulated through a tradition of papal, conciliar, and episcopal documents (Link) and the depth and richness of this tradition can be understood best through a direct reading of these documents.
