Shortly following the Archdiocesan Mass for Life, thousands from all over the Midwest will gather in Federal Plaza to defend and protect all human life. Leaders in the Respect Life movement such as Ramona Trevino, Pat McCaskley, and  Bishop Donald J. Hying from the Diocese of Gary will join Cardinal Blase J. Cupich in speaking out for the protection of all human life – from conception to natural death.

Youth Rally and Mass 2018

Join us for the 2018 Youth Rally and Mass for Life prior to the March for Life Chicago on Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Doors will open right at 8:00 a.m. Expect fun-filled rally activities, energetic music, and inspiring talks about the beauty of life! We will end the Youth Rally with the Mass for Life celebrated next door at Holy Name Cathedral. The Mass for Life will be a sending forth to join the official March for Life Chicago held at the Federal Plaza in Chicago, IL (less than a 2 mile walk). Buses can drop off the participants for the Youth Rally right in front of the school/cathedral (off of State Street) and can park the buses on South Columbus Drive. There will be parking available for smaller vehicles at the parking lot of Holy Name Cathedral as they are available.

Please note that by reserving and signing up your group to attend the Youth Rally and Mass 2018, you have done all of the necessary paper work for the teens and their parents/guardians and all the chaperones needed to create a safe environment. We, at the Office of Human Dignity and Solidarity, are in full cooperation with the Office for the Protection of Children and Youth to the commitment of protecting all of God's children and providing a safe environment where children and young people can learn, thrive, and grow. All of the needed forms need to be done at the local parish or school level. We only ask for a group registration and payment to count your group in.

National March for Life in D.C. 2018

Once you march with us in Chicago, join us for the National March for Life 2018 Pilgrimage to Washington, D.C.
From January 17-21, the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Office of Human Dignity and Solidarity will embark on an exciting four-day pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Annual National March for Life that gathers well over 500,000 young people. We invite high school teens, young adults and adults to journey with us as we unite with many people from around our country to pray and march for our unborn brothers and sisters.
