There is an annual collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development each Fall. Donations are graciously accepted at any time throughout the year and are ultimately used to provide grants that support low-income communities in their efforts to confront the injustices that affect them. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development supports a number of education initiatives that teach different audiences about the root causes of poverty, Catholic Social Teaching, and how to provide support to those on the margins. If you would like to host a seminar or have an idea as to how to educate your community about these topics, please contact Sr. Julia Walsh at [email protected].
