COVID-19 Virtual Events

In addition to those provided by the Archdiocese of Chicago, parishes and groups across the archdiocese are providing incredible digital and virtual resources for their communities, which you will find below.

If you would like to submit a virtual event to be posted on this page, please email Peter Chrzan at [email protected].

These resources are open and available to anyone. If you are interested in resources specific to young adults, please click here.

The following offerings will be available beginning in April. Stay tuned for updates!

Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Prayer Group for Engaged Couples in English
    (James Erler and Krystle Frey)
The COVID-19 crisis has altered the way that each sacrament is administered in the Catholic Church, but none is more affected than the sacrament of marriage. Weddings are traditionally joyous occasions that gather together large groups of loved ones of all ages. As health precautions become stricter for the health and safety of the greater good, engaged couples are now facing cancellations, indefinite postponements or smaller wedding alternatives that were unfathomable just a few weeks ago.
This is why the Archdiocese of Chicago is offering a weekly virtual prayer group for engaged couples that have felt the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Led by a couple facing the same difficulties, this weekly prayer group will provide a sense of community, solace and reliance on faith that is sure to bring comfort.
The virtual prayer group will take place on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. via ZOOM. To register, please click here and select “Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. (James Erler and Krystle Frey | English)”.

  • Book clubs will gather weekly for approximately 60 minutes to read and reflect on faith and values-based books, articles and other resources.
