Confronting Hate: Choosing Love in a Divided World

Join the Young Adult Engagement Team of the Archdiocese of Chicago to hear Immaculee Ilibagiza, a survivor of the Rwandan Genocide, speak about how she forgave the man who killed her family. Immaculee will demonstrate how radical love in the midst of hate can impact our polarized culture — where differing opinions are met with hate and the “other side” of an argument is automatically wrong — and bring charity and forgiveness into the world around us. Immaculee’s books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
