The Office of Lifelong Formation seeks to fulfill the overall vision and mission of the Renew My Church initiative by being the go-to resource for lifelong opportunities. The Office of Lifelong Formation is committed to nurturing missionary discipleship, building bonds among the faithful and developing vital ministries in a Christ-centered environment.
What We Do
The Office of Lifelong Formation serves our archbishop and the people in the Archdiocese of Chicago by coordinating a range of functions and ministries, and hosting events throughout the archdiocese. The Office of Lifelong Formation assists catechetical and parish leaders, catechists and school teachers in working through faith formation and certification, and creates resources for parishes and communities.
The office aims to assist in youth and young adult ministry and provides resources for marriage preparation and family ministry. We are also a support system for Vicariates and provide procedure, guidelines and policies for local parishes.
